WHY DOES Sapienswise EXIST?

Sapienswise is devoted to fight poverty in all its forms through helping children, young and adult people discover and nurture God given talents through different activities (education, financial inclusion, agriculture and livestock, arts and culture) related to the daily life situation in Rwanda, Africa and all over the World. We believe that every human creature has talents and if given an opportunity to discover and nurture them, they can bring changes in communities they are living in.

To be a leading organization in fighting poverty through helping people discover and nurture their talents and make use of them for their social economic transformation.

MISSION

We will invest fighting poverty through the discovery and nurturing of talents in all people as we create spaces for them through different competitions, career guidance, trainings and sharing practical experience of daily life which lead to income generation.

WHY TALENTS

The ultimate goal is to help people identify their gift and make use of them in their respective communities. We do it through different competitions, career guidance, training and practical examples in daily life from community level, school level up to national level. We do it through a program called “talent show”. It is a program conducted on annual basis. We empower teachers, school leaders, students and the wide school community and create spaces for them to be able nurture their talents.

WHERE WE WORK

Our initial physical activities are in Gasabo District in Kigali City, the next step will be to work with all Districts in Kigali City and it is supposed to scale up countrywide.  Our online activities are conducted countrywide. After that we will look for ways of scaling our intervention in Africa and globally.  We work with schools and school community to reach all ages.
